My wife and I are thinking of purchasing a 2024 Grand Design Solitude 391DL. I was wondering if anybody is familiar with this unit and what you thought about it. The unit has slide toppers, tankless hot water heater, and solar on roof plus many added features. If you have purchased what kind of warranty’s did your unit come with? Are you happy with your unit?

Has anyone purchased from Campers Inn Rv? If so would you buy again from them?

Any help or insights would greatly be appreciated.

How did you arrive at the 391DL? Will you always have people with you where the 2nd bedroom is a must?

General warranty from GD is one year. Many components have their own specific warranty. Info from GD at purchase should include all of that information. For minor issues during the first year, I made a punch list and emailed it to my dealer as items were added so they were aware. I even put items on there that I fixed myself just to document. None effected camping so at the end of the season made an appointment to have all fixed. Worked well.

I bought from Campers Inn in Louisville (actually in Clarksville, IN). Sales process and the service department have been great to work with.

I would be doing major research online and YouTube before purchasing any brand of 5th wheel right now. Lots of videos on frame flex issues with 5th wheels. Good luck!

Yes I have been. Is that all 5th wheels? I’ve seen where the earlier models have been having flex issues. I haven’t seen much in the 2024 models though. Wasn’t sure if GD had fixed the problem or not.
