New Solitude 310GK

I have the inverter turned off. The problem is the igniter on the range requires 110 volts. We can light the burners with a match, but the oven pilot isn't accessible that easily. Is it okay leave the inverter on while running the generator for two hours?

First, I don't understand why an RV oven or stovetop would use 120v for ignition. Our stove has a AA battery that powers our stovetop igniter and the oven is powered by the 12v system.

Second, when you are running the Generator, I presume that you are using the "Shore Power" connection on the coach. If you are powering the coach through the "Shore Power" connection, the generator should be supplying 120v to both legs of your 50 amp service (presuming you are using the standard 30 amp to 50 amp "Dog Bone" adapter that crosses the wires internally to provide power to both legs of the breaker box). If this is the case, then all of your 120v devices inside the coach should have power when you are running the Generator.

Your issue with the stove not lighting comes down to your Inverter and how it is wired into the coach...

Whenever an Inverter is installed, there should be an "Automatic Transfer Switch" (ATS) that switches from Inverter Power to Shore Power that prevents your outlets from being supplied power from the Inverter and Shore Power simultaneously (otherwise, bad things happen). This ATS can be either internal to the Inverter, or external to the Inverter. You need to find the specifications of your Inverter to determine if it has an internal ATS. If it does have an internal ATS, then you will need to leave the Inverter on while you are running the Generator to supply power to the circuits that the Inverter is connected to. I suspect that your Inverter has an Internal ATS because your Inverted circuits (stovetop and oven) do not have power when the Inverter is turned off and if you had an external ATS then those circuits would be energized while the Generator is running.

PS: welcome to the 310GK family, we love our 310GK.
