With all the companies that believe that tricking their clients by using sales, I kind of wonder why Costco is so successful?

I can say, I used to deal with the owners when they were alive and they were as genuine as the average Joe you meet in life. Many of my clients are Costco employees and for over 30+ years, I have never heard one bad from an employees lips.

One thing for certain, we need to get back on track because this tread is certainly off right now.

Costco DOES have sales!!! Every month I get a color flyer in the mail with that months sales.

Missing the point, yes, they do have sales, but not like what you are seeing with the daily sales with huge mark downs like Harbor Freight and others.

Costco and HF are not in the same league.
Both though, are wildly sucessful.
I can tell you what, IMO sets Costco apart from other grocery retailers.
They do not allow panhandlers etc. on their property!
This means a better experience for their members.... Membership is the key in this case. Costco is not open to the public. You must be a paid member to be there. That is why they do not have the panhandler presence that all the other grocery stores have.

I'm in Phoenix and yes it is a huge problem. Many tweakers etc.

That would suck. We get some around here, but they're usually at a few of the intersections. None around the stores. Which I am glad of.

Seattle Panhandlers, that's the local mascot. Portland is the Tweakers.
