Newbie From Northern Colorado

Im wanting to know this also. Happy Camping

There is a nozzle somewhere in the propane line that can be changed. Then, once you are done at high altitude, it would be changed back.

I will check on the part and where it goes.

If you wouldn’t mind telling me where and how to adjust the propane, that would be great

We've lived in CO for 30+ years and boondock all over CO and parts of the West. Right now we are over 9K ft elevation and no changes or special requirements to use any of our propane devices. Sounds like your regulator is set too low which is a one time adjustment.

Propane Adjuster for Elevation

In the right rear outside panel there is a little knob you turn to adjust the propane. Same panel you open to turn the propane on/off switch. You will turn on the 5 gallon tanks at the front just like you do your gas BBQ at home, then go to the back panel and press the switch on. At high altitude turn the little knob on the right to adjust. The owners manual sucks in general but I believe there are some basic instructions in it for adjusting for elevation.
