I connect my incoming tv cable into the connection marked cable, inside my docking station. I get a cable signal at the living room and bedroom tv's, but not the pass-thru compartment. Anyone have any thoughts?
Put a jumper coax, mine is about a foot long, between either the living room or bedroom connection and the pass-thru and you will have cable at the pass-thru. That will also give you antenna TV in the pass-thru when not using cable.
Maybe yours is the correct solution. I was trying to get the antenna to work in the pass-thru and found that the jumper cable from the living room connection to the pass-thru connection have me a signal in the pass-thru. I have never tried cable, so your solution of just connecting to the living room might be the best. There certainly isn't anything in my 2015 users manual about it.
I remember reading someone thread saying they mess up the labeling on coaxial for cable in the utility center often. My antenna works fine, but first time I came to a site with cable I couldn't get cable pass though port for or Bedroom to work only living room TV. So I played around with connections and discovered Living room marked port was actually the cable line for all. (Far right side port) they also mislabeled my Black and Gray tank valve openers, oh well fixed now.
