Agree with those that have mentioned the adapter that goes between truck outlet and the cord for the RV. Can’t explain what that adapter does, but it solved the problem of inoperative backup camera. My tow vehicle is 2021 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD. My faint recollection of what I was told when the matter was diagnosed and the adapter was purchased (which was not inexpensive), is that the adapter corrects and modifies the power from the vehicle with all LED lighting and the camera that can’t handle that sort of power source. Again a faint recollection of the explanation. All that said, you do need to have the truck lights turned on to power the camera and not just DRL’s.Why is there no power going to back up camera? Breakers and fuses are all good .
I tested mine and it worked, But now I'm going to plug it in again just to be sure. Strange too, as my Brother in Law has a 2022 GMC and has never said anything about the camera not working. I never asked either so....If you have a GMC or Chevy, they use a power management system. Without the modification to the trailer lamp module or the Lippert adapter, the camera will not work. This is on 2019 and newer GMCs. Not sure if the newer GMCs have had this problem corrected.
Can you (or someone) post a link to this adapter? People may find it useful. Never mind, found it on eTrailerProbably referring to this adapter. My last two trucks have required this to view the camera.

Doesn't work that way on my truck.Or if your vehicle has mandatory daytime running lights like we do in the great white north, you’ll always have power!
