Hello,

I have 2024 410TH with a N20CDSS Norcold fridge.

The open door alarm for the freezer is not functioning properly. The dealer has fixed it 2 or either 3 times. The warranty is coming up.

The last time they fixed it, they added almost 1/2 inch of washers to lower the magnet on the freezer door to better align with the sensor. After the unit has been operating for several hours the door alarm will still go off sometimes after the door has been closed.

It is really annoying. I've never had an Norcold. (My previous RV had a residential Samsung). Is this typical behavior for Norcold??

Also there is a 6 - 10 degree temperature gradient in the fridge, with the top being warmer. Is that typical?

Thanks for joining. I don't have any experience with your model of refrigerator. I just wanted to welcome you to the community. You soon see that we have a wealth of members here who can offer suggestions while trying to help you out.

I don't have any advice on the door closed issue, but as far as the temperature differential, many folks add small fans to help with air circulation inside the fridge box. Another suggestion is to make sure that there is actually room for the air to flow and don't have the box so loaded up that air cannot circulate inside.
