Have a 5500 onan lp generator on my 2017 367th
It's throwing a 36 code.
About a month ago it ran for about 5 hours then shut off and couldn't get started again.
Few weeks later tried again and it ran for about an hour and then shut off, wouldn't start again.
Today it ran for about 30 mins, shut off and would run again. Now if it does start it will run for about 30 seconds then die. I had both acs on and I don't recall hearing the unit idle up when it was running.
- Adjusted the elevation.
- Saw a few videos online and they suggested messing with the oil level. I ran it at the minimum, maximum and middle range.
- both tanks are full.
- does seem to prime when you push down the switch on the unit.
Everything I see online seems to be bad gas or oil level for code 36
