Hi there. Our new 346FLS came with the Lippert One Control System installed. Devices controlled by One Control include the slides, many lights, leveling, and the Tire Linc. All nice and they work well. I would like to expand this base system to include tank levels, TV lift, and some additional lights like the outside LEDS, Porch Light, and Flood Light to name a few. Has anyone done this? Where to go to get the device controllers etc. It is a nice base system but feel it could have tons of value if expanded. As it is I barely use it with the exception of Tire Linc which is used 100% when on the move. Appreciate any feedback or direction. Cheers.

I spoke with both Grand Design and Lippert regarding adding devices to the One Control. Lippert says it can be done, but you may have to change the primary control box to an X4 (or something). And, then, you have to add all of the individual modules, sensors, etc. and wires for whatever additional device(s) you want. Grand Design says they do not wire the One Control for expansion in the Solitude line, only the Momentums. In the end, it sounded expensive and a PITA, so no upgrades or add-ons for us.

Thanks for the reply fsalmy. Unfortunately that does not sound good. It’s a bit of a shame to have an automation system but have it sooooo limited with a cap on expansion. A bit of an expense, not so bad, but can’t imagine running tons of wiring in the rig. Even simple runs can be challenging and like you said a major PITA.

Any idea what this X4 is? I have tried to get info on the Lippert One Control but it seems to be very closed from users.

I think, but am not certain, that the Unity Board or control module or whatever LCI calls it, installed in the 2022 Solitudes is the X1.5. If you repeatedly tap under the home icon on your touch panel, it will take you to advanced settings and you see what module you have and what device controllers are installed. Again, not totally certain, but when I was on the phone with LCI and/or GD and learned that the One Control installed in the Solitudes could not be upgraded or expanded (at least without a major undertaking), I kind of lost focus about what module they told me was required for things like remote gen start, dimming the lights, tank monitors, HVAC control. Sounded like X4, but they could have told me pretty much anything. I just wasn't listening at that point.

LCI customer support was really helpful when I called - which was around 8am Elkhart time. Got right through. They walked me through how to determine what control or unity board I have and how to determine what devices are connected or can be connected. There are also these manuals: https://support.lci1.com/onecontrol-wireless-formerly-myrv

When I called GD, the Lippert rep was right there. Both the GD and LCI reps said, "nope, we don't install those on the Solitudes, only the Momentums". I suggested they consider it for Solitudes of the future.
