Great pictures! Looks like the '55 Buick had several of the "design elements" of the iconic '57 Chevy. Who knew??

Funny how I see it as the other way around! My '55 has the dagmars but it took Chevy to '57 to add them

That’s exactly what I am saying . . . Buick was obviously there first on these design elements.

Where I grew uo in the motor city the hottest one to have was the 57 Chevy. Everything else was so so. It better be a two door too, nobody wanted their fathers car a 4 door.

Exactly why I always wanted this car. Everyone has a Chevy. I can't drive this car anywhere without people, and not just men, who have to give their approval and ask about it. It's incredible. I will say it stands alone at car gatherings. A dozen tri-five Chevy's and me!
