Here’s a tidbit of info for those Ontario RV’ers.

The yellow safety inspection stickers are not required effective July 1, 2019, providing you meet MTO’s new requirements. Unfortunately there are no refunds for those of us who have already received inspection... what’s another $160 in taxes paid LOL... IMG_3276.jpg

I never had this done. When I bought my trailers nobody told me that I need anything done. Glad I was never pulled over and now don't need to do it.

The requirement for an annual inspection and window sticker proving it applied to trucks with a gross weight or registered gross weight of 4500 kilograms or more... is your Toyota up there?

My Ford dealer told me my new 2017 had to be stickered, and paying for two annual inspections since in which nothing at all was even close to needing attention was painful. Seems like a sensible move by the Ontario government to remove this requirement from our only-sometimes-towing vehicles. How often can we say "sensible move" and "government" in the same sentence?!

Guess this is why I have not done it. My Tundra is not over the 4500 kg gross weight rating. Next truck maybe but currently not.

Hi Dave, I joined this group with the specific intention of wanting to thank you very much for posting this. Do you happen to have a copy of the pdf ? I took a screen shot for now to keep in the truck. Turns out the CVOR has the same exemption as well! That makes life easy. I'm very happy I seen your post today. Thanks again!
