Overnight Stay near Buena Vista CO on US 24 / US 285

I don't think I have asked this before, but I am looking for a quick place to stop near Buena Vista CO, US 285/US 24 area the end of July. I don't need any thing fancy, just a safe place for a quick overnight stop. Hopefully I wont need to unhook. Anything north of Poncha Springs along 285 would be good too.

82 has boondocking about 2 miles off 24 on the left big rig friendly.

Dexter point campground just down the road also a parking lot really.

Not sure I want to boon dock in that area due to safety concerns. I found a spot at Snowy Peaks RV Park. Pricey but safe. Recommended by some others headed to the Colorado GD Rally
