Spent 4 nights last month in Lone Pine, not far from Big Pine. Love the Eastern Sierra!

Did you stay at Boulder Creek?
Yep, my home town, lots of good memories, still having lots of good times. had breakfast there this morning after spending a week in Bishop.
Ugly wind almost the whole way back to twang town (Bakersfield), up to 30+mph, wasn't fun.
think I survived because I left most of the liquid in my tanks to provide some ballast.

Yes, Boulder Creek then on for a few days in Bishop. Always have breakfast at the Alabama Hills Cafe.

We love Boulder Creek, been staying there since 1996 as a stop over to Twin Lakes outside Bridgeport.
