PDI inspection

Greetings All,

I ordered a Momentum 388M and according to the dealership, it left the factory on April 27th. That's great news! Then I asked the sales rep it I could have a copy of the GD PDI check list for this unit. His reply was no, not until we finalize the paper work. I explained that I just wanted to review it prior to our inspection so I could be prepared. Is this a big secrete? I am really looking forward to this unit.

Really, all it is is a checklist that the techs use to go over the systems.

It is also the same paper you will sign at the end to activate warranty on the coach.

That piece of paper means nothing and he probably doesn't have it, it would come in the packet with the RV. Nothing says that PDI was even done unless you witnessed it yourself. The most important PDI is the one you do yourself before actually taking delivery. Prepare your own checklist and don't just accept the guided tour. Its a substantial investment so every nook and cranny, caulk joint, seam, and screw should be checked. I spent every bit of 6 hours on mine when the guided tour portion was less than 20 minutes. I brought my own check list!

Is it possible to get a copy of your check list? Buying a 369rl at the end of the year and would love to have it for when I do my PDI!
