As a former part-time professional photographer and a fan of Ansel Adams since the '60s, I think you did a lot better job than you give yourself credit for.

Looking forward to seeing the pictures. I enjoy trying to get some good pictures with the S23 Ultra. I've been terribly bummed out by the fact my new home, albeit even further north, has not given me a chance to capture the Northern Lights that have flared over the last few months. Surrounded by too many trees and haven't dedicated time to go to an open area late in the evening. I was hoping for some great winter shots too but no thanks to El Nino, snow is quite scarce right now. Hope to see some good Riverwalk pictures in the near future!

Unfortunately the section of the Riverwalk we were at had very few lights and nothing as spectacular as we had been reading about. It is a long 2.50 mile walk and we had someone recovering from knee surgery so couldn't walk the whole distance. But we parked next to the Art Museum and got free entry to it and spent a little time in there. A small Art Museum for a larger town tho.

We finally have a little bit of winter here! Took this shot while driving back home from the hardware store. No parking along the bridge so I had to slow down and try and get the shot.

Overnight and the world largely turned black and white. Somehow makes the world seem a little simpler.

Wonder what the "R" value of snow is:)

Still snowing lightly. Weather forecasters were priceless with amount changes nearly every hour.

Brrr... I'm cold just looking at that... It's beautiful to look at but glad we are not in it ! Nice snow shots
