We had a cute little visitor this evening as 6 of us sat, chatted and watched. Our small group didn't even phase this little one. It even looked like he wanted to join the conversation.

Haha watch them sneaky bandits.
Back in 2001 we were camped at or near Lake Catherine in Arkansas and were sitting about 20 yards from our camper facing the lake and enjoying a campfire. Two racoons walked along the waters edge and proceeded to entertain the wife and I (and our 3 kids) with their antics. Several minutes went by and I decided to refresh my adult beverage, I got up and turned to walk back to the camper and spotted 2 other racoons already had our food cooler open with lunch meat, cheese, and whatever they could grab scattered on the ground and ripped open. The two of them ran off with some of our food and the two by the lakeside joined them.... we still laugh about getting robbed by 4 masked bandits while camping.

Be vary careful of racoons out during the day! They are usually nocturnal. I would be concerned of rabies when they are out when it is not normal and not scared of interacting with humans.

Thanks for the advice and concern. We were just observing not interacting. He/she was staying about 5 ft from where people were sitting and appears to be young but not being social with us.

Took this one afternoon on our last trip. I call it Napping Sheep Dog. Lol.

I was playing with a camera we got for Christmas this year. A Nikon Z50. Used to be into photography in the 35mm film days and studied film in college, so refreshing my memory on stuff. Lots of relearning to do.

Good angle, how hard was it to get back up ? With any luck the dog was on the bed!
So much to learn with going digital but quite a bit remains the same.

He was on the floor in front of the fireplace. Fortunately at 50 I got up ok…10 more years, we’ll see.
