Picture posting

I've looked and can't find an answer.. I know how to post pictures as a thumb nail attachment, but how do you post the picture without it being an attachment?

in the same box that pops up to upload an image there is a tab for the URL. You need to have your pictures hosted on an on line album like flickr or photobucket, then insert the link to the pictures BBCode

Or you can just use the code straight onto the reply or post you are making. I'm replacing the

Renee, I use flickr and it gives you size choices, it gives you the code for the size you select. Otherwise I'd downsize the picture from it's original file size

Ok I've got my photobucket loaded on here, but still can't get it to work. Is it because I'm on my iPad??

Jim...could be an ipad issue. We've had problems using our ipad when camping before also.
Did you try the [ i m g ] tag before and after the picture link? The second one has [ / i m g ] but remember no spaces.

never tried it on an ipad or with photobucket. Keep trying, you'll figure it out

Gsport I just played in photobucket , you copy and paste the link they give you that says IMG directly into your post without adding any additional brackets and also not using the the image tool in the reply , that's how I did this picture, good luck
photobucket gives you no sizing options that I saw. After playing in both I think I like flickr better. this pic is off photobucket
