Hi all! The plastic exterior door holder broke on our Imagine XLS. Very easily I might add! Which was no surprise since it holds the door at a 90 degree angle. I found a replacement and installed it. However, the screw holes are stripped out now and it does not stay in place. Any suggestions on what to fill the holes with so the screws will stay tight? Really don't want to relocate it and create more holes in the exterior

Fill holes w/ a two part epoxy, let dry then pilot drill new holes. That’s what Grand Design recommended to repair the stripped out lag screws for my awning.

My plastic door holder lasted about an hour and I never replaced it. Why do they use plastic?
