Please help Grand Design Solitude 390 rkr City Water Valve replacement

Help!

I am living full time in a 2020 Grand Design Solitude 390RKR. My wife and I were out of the country when the artic blast came through central Missouri. While we were away, we ran out of propane and the RV basically froze. I drained all the water lines including draining the hot water tank prior to leaving. However, I did not think to drain the water filtration system or disassemble it.

My Freshwater city water valve froze and broke apart. I have replacement parts from GD incoming now.

Question: How do I disassemble and replace the city freshwater valve? There is a large black U shaped clip on the back of the valve assembly. How do I get that apart and continue with the repair?

The U shape clip slides off with some persuasion. Pics below.

I replaced one on a 2021 Keyster Monty
Wedge a small screw driver behind the clip, to pry over the lip where it says 'water inlet'
Then pry down and out with another screw driver.
Install the new piece by forcing the clip up and past the lip.
