Power Cord Storage

I have been trying to find the best option for stowing the large power cord. My previous campers had either a designed located or you pushed it back into the wall. Do you coil it in a bucket, place it in a storage bin, coil and hang it on a hook or have you come up with a better way?
Please post your ideas and thoughts.

I am looking for ideas also. I tried one of the air hose reels from Harbor Freight, but it was not deep enough for a 50 amp line. Even if it would have worked it appeared to take up too much space with the handle sticking out.
Currently I have it rolled up and secured with Velcro straps on the floor of the storage area.

I stuff mine in the rear compartment with the other stuff back there. That cord is hard to handle when it's cold

Currently I just store mine in the pass-thru storage area, coiled up and contained with a handle strap.

I received a 30' 50 AMP extension cord which I store inside in one of the end tables in the back of our 337. It's heavier than the power cord and storing it there keeps that extra weight off my pin. I have had to use it twice already in just 4 months with the new 337.

Seldom use the 50A line. Got a 50 --> 30A adapter from Camping World along with two 30', 30A extensions. All we need 90% of the time. So we keep our 50A line in the curb side cabinet at the very rear of the trlr. This helps to keep the 40lbs of the line to the rear of the axles.

I bought the Mor/ryde cord reel, it works very good even with the 50amp cord. I highly recommend this.

Lippert sells an under trailer storage tray, which a spare tire can also be mounted to. It does work well for the cord storage, and also for the water hoses. The major drawback is the price, and it is not easy to install. It also cuts down on ground clearance.

I too use the Mor/Ryde reel. It's great for the job, but it is a bit pricey. For my water hose I bought an air hose reel from Harbor Freight for under $20.00. 50 feet of hose fit wonderfully.

I use these, and they work great. I can coil the cord and place a couple of adapters in this box, latch the handles and put it in the front storage bay. Works great.

I looked on the Mor/Ryde web site and could not figure which one to use. Which model did you get and where did you install it?
Is it hard wired to the trailer?

What model did you purchase, and how and where did you hook this up? Is it hardwired to the rig?

I bought the standard size, they make a compact version too. I installed mine next to the control panel (valves, hose hookups). They come with all necessary hardware to install it, I screwed it directly to the floor. I purchased from PPL, but several online stores sell them. This is a very nice product, simple but effective.
