Propane Auto Changeover Flag

Thanks all, I will buy a new Red regulator for the curb (right) side, as the auto-changeover flag keeps showing red for this side. It's only $ 14.00. I'll do that before buying the $43.00 two stage regulator for the street (left) side.

For anyone following this thread or researching this problem - it is not the red regulator. I replaced the red regulator with a new one and the problem still persists. I swapped tanks for a second time to make sure it was not the tank, and the auto changeover valve still shuts down the right (curbside) propane tank when either the furnace or oven is on. I will be ordering a grey auto changeover/regulator valve and will post again when everything is back to normal.

The change over valves do not last very long for me. A brand new spare is always in my fixit kit

Dog, Mine lasted 5 years full time - so that's not too bad I guess.

Maybe FT helps them.I generally get 2-3 years. And they fail at the worst possible time. I have had to change them out in a winter camp several times.
