Propane Heater not working

Hello,
For some reason my propane furnace heater is no longer working.
The bottles still have quite a bit of weight, and there is no red-glow from the indicator.

Interestingly, I am dry-camping at the moment, and my Battery ran down to almost nothing, so I don't know if that has anything to do with it.
Since then, of course, I've fired up the generator and now the battery is re-charged, and of course, I can get electric heat.

Couple of things to try. Turn on your cooktop and make sure you’re getting propane. Another thing is to pull the fuse for the furnace at the converter for a couple minutes. It may reset it. The propane furnace needs 12v power to run the fan so having your battery go low is most likely the cause.

Sometimes the furnace needs a reset. Try switching it to off and then heat again and see what happens, or you can just turn off your battery switch and back on to reset it as well.

Yes, it look like the low battery caused it because the reset worked!

...But now I'm wondering if I should check the battery power somehow -- or is it quite normal for it to run down without any electricity running overnight?
The only power I've had so far is running the Generator from time to time during the day.

If you are dry camping with only the dealer installed battery, you have limited capacity. They most likely installed a lead acid battery of which you can only use 50% of the capacity without causing battery damage. The furnace will draw a lot of power from the battery if dry camping. There are other small loads such as fridge, propane alarm, radio memory, etc that will have a constant draw. Best solution is to get a good quality battery monitor such as Victron BMV-712. Also, either plan on constantly charging battery with generator, consider solar and certainly research battery types and capacities to increase your available power when dry camping.
