I’m hearing a whining sound and can feel a slight vibration when I touch it whenever propane is being used on the tank opposite the side with the switch over valve. The side with switch over works fine if drawing from that tank. I’m guessing the regulator is bad?? Ideas??? Are these single or dual stage, hi pressure?

Thought I could find one on amazon but no luck.

A slight vibration and whine are normal in many regulators. If it's doing its job and you don't have a leak (i.e. smell propane), you're OK.

I've had this on an older 5er. I found a very small piece of metal in one of the connecting tubes. It may have come from cross-threading a fitting. It made a whistle sound.

Replace the regulator. I replaced mine with a 30psi regulator I bought from some Grand Design dealer. My regulator made noise from when it was new and just got louder and turned into a loud humming sound. I replaced the regulator and fixed the problem.

It appears to be the red high pressure regulator is in question. I thought the same and went to GD for a replacement only to find that it to chattered. As Rob said, if it isn't leaking or have an evident smell of propane leave it be.
