I am the soon to be delivered owner of a Momentum 385th that I purchased at the Hershey RV show. I have been researching toy haulers for the last couple if months. The Momentum is by far the best on the market from construction to cosmetics. I also was able to spend 2 hours with Marc Hauser, general manager of Grand Design, who made my wife and I feel as if we had known him forever. Also spoke on the phone directly with Don Clark and Bill Fenech who took time out of their busy schedules to thank me for my purchase. What an unbelievable company to have the upper executives and owners speak directly to there customers. I am proud to be an owner of a Grand Design product and know that they will revolutionize the RV industry!!!!

Here are some awesome pictures of the new Momentum 385th
It is absolutely breathtaking.

Here are a couple of more. I cannot wait until mine is delivered. I am so glad I didn't settle for a different toy hauler. Nothing even comes close to the Momentum!!!!! The garage and bedroom are the same as the Momentum 355th. The 385th has extra 1/2 bath, larger couch, pantry and is 2 feet longer.

Looking at the pictures, it looks like it's at least 50ft :)

I guess if I had looked closer I would have seen your signature and saw what you will tow it with. The 6.7 is a beast and tows our Solitude without any trouble.

I just added my signature. You didn't miss it. I did not have it up. I have not received the exact specs on the new Momentum 385th but I should be getting them soon. I was told it was going to be about 2 feet longer than the Momentum 355th which is 39 feet 11 inches. From what I heard from my RV Dealer (Tom Schaeffers in PA) who is at the open house, the new floor plan is incredible. I saw the Momentum 355th at the Hershey RV show and absolutely loved it but I was than told about the new floor plan. That is what we decided to order. I looked at all the other toy haulers from Cyclone, Fuzion, Raptor, Voltage, Road Warrior, XLR, etc and I found the Grand Design Momentum to be far superior in construction and design compared to the others. Add in the way the Solitude has taken off at the dealerships and the quality of that unit and it was a no brainer to order the Momentum. As a side note while I was at the Hershey show I spent a couple of hours with Marc Hauser, General Manager of Grand Design. We spoke alot about the different lines that Grand Design has out and the direction the company plans to go in the future. I also was able to speak directly by phone with Bill Fenech and Don Clark, co-owners of Grand Design. They both could not have been more pleasant to speak with. They are taking their customers input and critique to make a better product to build for us. Don't forget it was these 3 gentlemen who started Keystone from the ground up and made it into what it is today before splitting off and starting Grand Design. If I was a betting man I would say Grand Design will be considered as the premier RV manufacturer in a very short time.

Cill and I researched and looked at 5th Wheels for over a year before we bought our Solitude. We were only interested in Keystone 5th Wheels because of their quality. We really liked the Montanas, except for the shower being located in the bedroom on every model. We were about to pull the trigger on an Alpine so we could full-time, but my 80 year old Mother became ill and we moved her in with us. We decided that we couldn't full-time for now, so we decided on a Cougar. The day we went to make a deal on a Cougar the salesman wanted us to look at a new camper by a new company. He told us that the three owners had been with Thor and Keystone for years and had started this new company.

As soon as we walked into the Solitude, Cill was sold. As I looked it over, I could see the quality and how much better it was than Keystone. We left without buying the Cougar and I went home and started doing as much research as I could on Grand Design. Needless to say, three days later we were owners of #96 and haven't looked back.

I agree, it will not be long, Grand Design will be at the top of the RV industry.

Are you excited??

Glad we could make it happen.....

Can't wait myself, to see it in person.

Thanks for the pics, i have to ask, by looking at the pics i wonder if there is a clear view of the tv from all of the couch? Kind of looks like the center island may obstruct the tv from far end of couch. I didnt feel that when i looked at the 355. I really want the 385 for the 1/2 bath, thanks for your input!

Not sure about the TV. Maybe it is on a swing arm to adjust the viewing angle. Doesn't really look like it has a swing arm because the base of the TV is installed. The Garage and bedroom look the same as the pics on the Grand Deign website except there is no small fridge in the garage. The door is now where the fridge would have been. My wife liked the 385th over the 355th because of the extra 1/2 bathroom, the larger couch and the full pantry.

That's a good looking rig. I wanted a garage but the wife said no. We sure like our Solitude. LOL.
