Howdy fellow travelers.
Here goes, 2016 GD Reflection tt 313RLTS is the rig. Been around the country many times in all kind of weather and seasons, love it!
Boiled down to this, what is the 12 volt auto reset breaker size in amperage that is inline with electric extend/retract switch and electric stabilizer motor? I have a single motor for each stabilizer jack, front and rear. Each has similar switch to arb to motor setup but they are old and corroded so as to not be able to read them.
I was told 40 amp by a GD dealer, ( I think this is incorrect ) and I've seen Lipperts wiring schematic showing 6 amp. I've been told 20 amp as well. If it's a 7 amp motor and using only 80% of the breakers potential, it should probably be a 20 amp so as not to overload the wire or motor. Am I right?
There just isn't a definitive answer on the interweb. I'm totally confused on why GD or Lippert can't come up with an answer even with vin #.

Help please

What size is the wire? Your breakers/fuses should be sized to protect the wire. 40 Amp sounds too high to me. This site shows a 6 Amp breaker. Same here.

Hello fellow granite stater!
The four switch wires are small, probably 14 with two in to switch and two out to the arb. The wire from arb to motor is stout, maybe 10, it comes assembled to the motor casing.
