Good Morning
Has anyone had any experience removing one of the pull out couches and replacing it with a recliner?
If so, is there any name brand (Thomas Pane) you would recommend?
Thanks
Mark

I would not recommend Thomas Payne (Lippert/LCI) to replace any furniture in my RV. Any wall-hugger recliner that fits and suits your purposes will be fine. We have two Ekornes Stressless recliners where our sleeper-sofa used to be and replaced the double theater recliners with a Lambright double reclining love seat built to our specifications (think "Amish RV furniture").

I just noticed under the pullout couch there is a wire run about 18 inches then goes into the basement. So I guess that would be exposed.

Wouldn't it be covered by whatever you replace the couch with? Otherwise, you could reroute the wire. Is it 12 volt DC for the recliners, 120 VAC for something else, or what?

Thanks Rob,
It looks like a slinky tube probably carrying more than one wire. I am still in the planning stage and doing the snoop and poop.
I am a weekend warrior and 3 weeks during the summer .This is only the second season camping with this RV. It is parked in a secure storage facility less than a mile from home. I will have more info coming up in the next couple of weeks. We won't be using it again till August so hopefully I will have it done. Thanks for your input.
