How does everyone make these beds comfy for guests? And what type of bedding to use that's not a hassle to make up every evening. Everything we do to try and make that comfortable is so hard and exhausting to make daily. Thanks Tara

Not much..... the problem is the uneveness of the mattress and supporting frame once spread out. Have found that small children do better sleeping on one end or the other.

As for comfort a foam topper will help, but not with the bedding setup and/or storage much.

They're not supposed to be comfy, otherwise guests will stay :p
We put a 1" piece for eggcrate foam on the bed and it stores under the couch when not being used.

We added a couple pieces of foam to level out bed, 2” piece at head and 1” piece on the other 2/3 of bed. Then we have a 4” camping mattress for the top. Only used it a couple times but guests said it was comfortable.

In addition to a topper, check to be sure the entire bed surface is level. Both of our Thomas Payne trifold beds were high in the middle sloping to both ends. Turns out Lipper put them together sloppily. I remounted the center frame so it was level and readjusted the fold out legs to correct this. Sleeps much better now.

We bought an air mattress from Walmart. 14”. Full fits perfect. My wife and I sleep on it for quick overnights so I don’t have to pull the rzr out when we stop at HH or wherever. Grandkids love it too.
