Thanks for advice re: purchase of a Solitude 310 GK. Your advice was greatly appreciated and we listened. We are instead buying a Reflection 303. It will be much more suited for the usage we want with the 5th wheel.
We are now wondering about the addition of Disc brakes and the increased suspension sytem on this 5th wheel. Is it worth it? Thanks again

We just traded our 2017 303 in for a 324mbs. The 303 had drum brakes, we put 70k miles on the rv and they served us qell

Our 324 has disc brakes and the difference is noticeable. Not hugely, but i can feel it
That being said I wouldn’t pay more for disc brakes

standard disk brakes? Mine (a '23) has regular drum brakes

My .02 is that drum brakes do just fine. I wouldn't pay for a disc brake conversion, but if they're factory why not?

Ours is a 2025 and came with them. It was at an RV show so I suppose it could be an upgrade that was installed. I would not have paid extra for them, as I said above, I had no issues with our drum brakes on the 303.

We also have heated holding tanks & the Lippert TireLinc System, and an upgraded solar package which I don’t believe are standard. So far I really like the TireLinc system over our old EZZ System. I’m imagine there are other extras on ours but I don’t know recall what is standard equipment

There are no Reflections made with standard disc brakes (or even a factory option).

Heated tanks, Tire Linc and upgraded solar is all standard on all Reflections. (Upgraded solar only on the Ref's with the larger 12 volt refers)

They also all have the newer anti-lock drum brakes (which you may think are discs)

Well then I guess I’m going to have a conversation with our salesman. I asked several times about these being disc and was told each time they were

Yeah, if you look through the wheel and see a red, it is the anti-lock drum brakes.

Thank you. They are in fact red.

Shame on me I guess, but I asked him repeatedly about that because I didn’t think they came with disc brakes.

Anyway, I guess that why I feel little diff between these brakes and my old 303

I appreciate your help huntr70
