Hi,

I'm looking at a new 2023 Grand Design Momentum - mfg date is 2/2023. Haven't really gotten down to serious negotiations but their current 'out the door' price is still in the ballpark of what I expect I could get a 'new' 2025 for.

Since it's been sitting on the lot for maybe 18 months how much further of a discount could I reasonably expect to negotiate ? To me it seems that, even though I'll get the new warranty, lots of things deteriorate over time when sitting out in the sun and New England weather - things that I'll have to deal with sooner rather than later.

Thoughts ?

Thanks !

Peter

Hi All,

Well, this is now a moot point.

Went back to the dealer to look at the 2023 and it had sold the previous day. So, ended up going for a 2025 Momentum 28G with all the same options (Solar+, etc) plus the upgrades that GD has added sinc 2023 - ABS brakes, 50amp and a better generator. Should have it by early/mid September.

Really happy that the 2023 sold ! :)

Peter
