Question for GD Reflection 260rd owners (table up or down for towing)

I have a 2025 GD Reflection 260RD coming in late January.

I'm curious as to whether folks tow their coach with the dinette in the up position or the down position. I kinda like the idea of not having to stow it to travel and unstow it when you arrive. Not sure if that is safe or not and looking for some real world feedback.

TIA

We’ve never traveled with ours in the down position.

I can also say that our table with the single pedestal has never been as steady as we thought it should be. Yes, I’ve tried most reasonable potential solutions.

I keep ours up (the 310RLS is the same in the living area). Sometimes it is down if daughter goes along, we barely ever sit at the table.

Ours is always up, and it has never been in the down position except once when we wanted to test the bed (it was not so good). We agree with others that the table is not as solid as we'd like; however, with proper adjustment, it works acceptably.

We have been towing our unit since 2019 and never dropped the table. Not a problem, my friend. This year I put 7,280 miles on the truck visiting Banff and Jasper In Alberta. Beautiful area and we were blessed to had visited when we did. Four weeks after we left there was a major fire that destroyed the campground we had been in and a larger area in the town of Jasper. If you have limited time, Banff is great snd a great deal to offer. Our first hike in June was in the snow.

I have traveled across the country twice and several times into Canada. While I have always traveled with it up, it makes no difference if the table is locked in.

I personally don’t like towing it in the extended position. There’s just too much shaking and moving going around and those tables with the single shaft are never that stable in the first place and they always seem to loosen up so I prefer to keep it in the down position while Towing.

I have the same model and have towed this unit across the country twice and into Alberta, Canada, for over a month. I have always towed with it up and never had an issue. Just ensure the leg is locked in place, and before putting a room in or out, ensure the table is where it should be. Over the last 45 years towing RVs with tables, I have never ever dropped one just for the sake of travel and never had an issue with one in any RV.

We travel with it up. Concerning the wobble on the single post we made the switch to the base in this video.

Bought on Amazon. Pricy but easy to move around to get in cabinets and storage.
