Question for Janice/Grand Design - Underside Insulation - Momentum 385TH

While I was looking for the outlet valve for the forward black tank, I had occasion to drop some of the coroplast underneath. Our dealer installed some HDMI cables for us and dropped the underside to run them under the floors. (I am beginning to regret having had them done so). I have a question about the insulation underneath.

There were several strips of fiberglass running from side to side sitting on top of the coroplast. My question is this...

Is there supposed to be continuous coverage of the fiberglass on top of the coroplast, or are there only strips placed strategically with space in between the strips?

Hi @RamGunner,

There were several strips of fiberglass running from side to side sitting on top of the coroplast.
This is correct.

Best regards,

Hi @RamGunner,

We use fiberglass strips. If you have further questions, please feel free to contact our Customer Service at (574) 825-9679 directly and they will be happy to answer your questions one-on-one regarding your RV.

Hey Ram,

Mine had pretty much full coverage but very chopped up. Some full size pieces (like in residential) but a bunch of odd size pieces to cover other areas.

THANK YOU! That is exactly the sort of info I was looking for. I think they may have omitted a few pieces when they put things back together after running those HDMI cables. Now I have to decide how to handle it - as we are full-timing taking it back there is problematic. I'd just go buy some, but after the c-section bills, I can't just run out and buy more insulation now.
