Questions About Solitude

We have looked at the Solitude 369RL and like it very much, especially all the storage in the kitchen and living area. I do have several questions about the construction -
1) Are the sidewalls laminated?
2) Is the roof and/or floor laminated? I'm guessing if the answer to either of these questions is yes, then the insulation is block foam and if the answer is no then the insulation is batt fiberglass. Is this correct?
3) Is the frame on the 369 a 12" I beam?
I have been unable to find the answers to these questions anywhere so I thought I'd ask. Thank you.

I believe I seen somewhere that the frame is a double box 10" frame on the solitude with 10" drop frame. The initial double stack frame was used by Carriage .it was then picked up by Lifestyle Luxury ( same workers that built the Carriage RV) Redwood bought all the technical materials from Carriage so they build the Double stack frame as well but I think they build a 12 in. Don't quote me. They were going to have Lippert start building their frames as well as Lifestyle but I think Lifestyle continue to build their own frame in house. I believe this is where that type of frame came from super strong frames. I believe stronger than I beam frames. Most companies at the high end has went to 12 inch I beam but 10 " in drop frame is where the money is because it truly holds all the weight. I'm sure a tech guy will chime in pretty interested but what I've researched this is a great built rig.

Sidewalls are laminated.

Roof and floor are not.

10" double stacked I beam frame.

Hi @Thumper7,

We have looked at the Solitude 369RL and like it very much, especially all the storage in the kitchen and living area. I do have several questions about the construction -
1) Are the sidewalls laminated?

Yes

2) Is the roof and/or floor laminated?

No, we opted for a more structurally sound roof and floor through standard construction methods which offers a better insulating factor.

I'm guessing if the answer to either of these questions is yes, then the insulation is block foam and if the answer is no then the insulation is batt fiberglass. Is this correct?

Correct

3) Is the frame on the 369 a 12" I beam?

It is a 10" I beam

And please feel free to contact Marc Hauser, the GM for our Solitude/Momentum product lines, directly at [email protected] if you have further questions. :)

Best regards,
~ Janice
