Radio/DVD LED Display

We took delivery of our 369 a couple of weeks ago. It has been great. One issue I had was the LED panel on the radio/DVD was washed out and we could not see the numbers very well. JD at Grand Design was great and sent a new one. It is much better but the numbers still wash out if your eye is not on the same level with the display. As I sit in the recliner I cannot read the numbers on the panel. I stand up and they are perfect. I am thinking of shimming the top of the unit so it will tilt out slightly. Has anyone else tried this? Any other ideas are welcome. Thank you

Congrats on your new Solitude! Ours is the same way. Difficult to read the display when sitting down. Shimming to angle the display down just might solve the problem. Don't angle too much or you might not be able to read it when standing up. We have learned to live with it but if your idea works, let us know how you did it.

I actually hadn't paid attention to the display, but will check it out next week while I am out again.
