DISCLAIMER: Not the most mechanically savvy. :)

Last night before a major rain storm as we were closing the ramp door the frame separated from the door itself on one side. It appears it's just held on by glue therefore wondering if anyone has any tips on how to reattach. My initial thought was to use JB Weld but would take any recommendations anyone has. Thanks!

JB Weld is wonderful stuff, but I don't think it's what you need for that job. If it were me I would do some in depth exploration and find out why the door has pulled away. Yes, the glue has failed, but what caused it? It's possible there has been water intrusion and softened the underlying strata. You don't say what year/model we're looking at. Possibly something as simple as being overloaded once.

Thanks! Admittedly I was hopping off the ramp (while in a deck position), slipped as I landed on the ground, hit my hand on it, which then caused it to come off. We've never used the ramp for loading/unloading and is only used as a deck.

It's a 2019 Momentum 397TH.

JMO, but I wouldn't think just hitting your hand on it would cause it to unseal like that, unless there's an underlying problem with the ramp. Unless you hit it hard enough to do yourself damage too anyway. :) Does the ramp feel soft at any point? Can you easily push down on the ramp where it has come loose? Do you leave it out in the weather/rain a lot?

Ha! I wouldn't think so either.

There is a soft spot but it's on the opposite side of the ramp so don't think that's the culprit. I've pulled the frame off and the strata is only moist where the rain from last night seeped in (We couldn't seal the door in time for the storm). Very odd.

In terms of weather, it's been open in the rain maybe 2-3 times in the past 3 years I've had it.

My only thought: if there's one soft spot there may be more forming, and this spot may be in the initial forming stages. Our old toyhauler ramp door was never left out in the rain and the inside got wet anyway. The door wasn't sealed at the top so when it rained and the door was closed, water could still infiltrate the interior. Not a good design. You might check to see if yours is sealed well at the top. Good to know there's a video on how to fix them, if necessary.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. With a second set of hands (which cost $1,100) we were able to get the door aligned with the rail by standing the door vertically and align the door with the rail.
