Amazing ‘heavy’ half ton truck: This is an extremely hard to find custom order truck, which has the ‘heavy duty payload package’. This option is no longer available on F150’s. This is not the same as the regular payload package – this actually adds 800lbs of payload to the truck, enabling you to haul in the bed, tow large campers without running out of payload, and even add a larger truck camper. When you are using a truck, you run out of payload long before you reach the tow limits of the truck. This truck has an 11,500 lb tow limit AND 2,322 lbs of payload (a huge amount for a half ton) and is set up perfectly for towing (E tires, Bilstein shocks, Roadmaster active suspension). Truck camping made easy: This truck has an insulated bed and truck camper with large ventilation windows (with bug mesh and metal grate on inside). I have camped in the back of this truck in many ski areas in CO in the winter!
