RC Car track in Florida?

We are planning to winter in Florida next winter. One of my favorite hobbys is RC car racing but I am having a hard time finding RV parks in FL with RC Tracks.

Anyone know of places in FL with an RC Track?

If I remember correctly Majestic Oaks RV park in Zephyrhills, Fla had a RC track when I stayed there a few years ago. Give them a call to check on it.

I see the track on the satellite photos. How did you like the park and why/why not? Looking at the reviews of the place there are mentions of the cement plant next door being noisy and dusty, We are from farm country so a little noise and dust is normal for us, I just wouldn't want to be overpowered.

The campsite we had was large and had a cement pad to park RV and truck on. All the Facilities were very nice. The cement plant didn't bother us at all. It is next to a small airport that is billed as the skydiving capital of the world. The wife and I ended up doing a Tandem jump while we stayed there. You see parachutist in the air all day, but there isn't any noise from the planes. There isn't allot of shopping locally, but isn't far from Tampa and Bush Gardens. We stayed there for a month and were happy with the place.

Make sure you stop in at Hobby Stop in Rock Hill SC. Google the place it’s awesome!

Full paved Daytona style onroad track with grandstands!

Dirt track beside it. I was floored the first time we stopped there on the way to Florida once.... incredible. We never see tracks like that in Canada.

I would enjoy running on both of those, the 2 wheel drive on the tri-oval and the 4 wheel drive on the dirt. Might have to look into spending a few hours there on the way past, we will probably be going down I77 so it would be pretty close.

Just south of Tampa in Ruskin is Mann's RC Shop. Has paved outdoor track set up and an outdoor Short Course track. Has lots of parts in stock and very nice setup.

If your going down I-77, there is an indoor track in Mooresville, nc exit 36. 5 minutes off the exit. Speedrc, its in the industrial park with all the race teams. They do have an outdoor track but it may be closed for winter.
