The ladder at the rear of my Reflection is too high for me to get on without a step ladder. Is there a fold down extension that will work or will I need to pack a ladder? If I have to pack a ladder I will need to strap it or zip strip it to the existing ladder. Are there any better options for securing it?

I have the same issue. My solution was a HD folding step that i keep in the rig to reach high places there. Kinda dual purpose. Like this: Screenshot_20240131-073532.png

My wife has a stool in the RV for the taller cabinets, but it is much to short. The step ladder I used was 2' tall to the top step. I have one of the collapsible ladders that I may use.

When I got to get on the roof, I just back the truck up to the ladder (like parking sideways behind it so as to not take up road or others access), drop the tailgate and use my integrated tailgate step or bumper step, and use it to step onto the ladder.

My tailgate is at the perfect height to access my 5er ladder without worring about ground level, ladder colapse, or mishap manuevering with stuff in my hand from the roof. Also can have the DW or helper hand stuff up to me easier too. IMO..... much more stable and safer for all involved.

What do you do if the trailer is in a site where you can't back the truck up to the back of the trailer?

Dont do back ins.... just pull-throughs. Always leave enough room for just such occasions. However, do have a telescopic colaspable 14' ladder which I can use from side of RV if no or limited available space behind RV.
