Rear storage for 24

Picking up a 2025 GD 24bhx at the end of the month and the one thing that I don’t like about it is the under bunk storage in the back. It’s like the designers got to that point and gave up. Almost all other trailers this size have an exterior door to access under the bunk. Has any one added one to theirs?

I highly doubt anyone has cut a hole in the rear of their unit to put an access door in

My rear bunk ,2400bh, doesn’t have a rear door. Mind you my lower bed folds up to access that area but I don’t store anything there. I don’t like to store things in the rear of the trailer. I keep things in the front to add tongue weight

I’m sure it sounds crazy! Just seems like a total waste of space.

I use mine for storage after setting up camp. It also makes for an extra sleeping space for one of the grandkids! Just threw a piece of the original queen mattress in there and he loved it!
