Anyone running a Reese Goosebox on a short bed F-250/350 on a Solitude?

I have a 2011 F-350 SRW SB 4x4 truck and a 369RL trailer. Wondering if the goosebox would work and if there are any issues with the goosebox contacting the bedrails. Also, what kind of turning radius do you get?

Reese and Lippert are in bed together on the GooseBox so it won't void your frame warranty... doesn't make it a good idea from an engineering point of view. Too much torsional stress on the front frame members of the trailer - especially one as heavy as yours.

I'm sure the above poster has extensive engineering experience but many of ran them without issues. I have the 20k version on my Momentum. It's a bit more of a pain to hook up, and I had issues with the airbag at first, but overall I've very happy with it. Pulls great. No clearance issues with my 2017 F350. My truck is a long bed, but I don't see that being an issue. Your short bed will have the same issues as a normal 5th wheel hitch with front cap clearance on tight turns. And no big hitch in the bed when unhooked. I don't miss my 5th wheel hitch one bit.

We too, have the Goose Box when we had our Momentum. And, we now a proud owner of a Solitude 375RES. The Goose Box posed no towing issues and/or any stress-related ones, whatsoever. In fact, we like it much better than the regular king pin set up. Plus, one can never accidentally drop the King Pin onto the truck bed, which happened to a lot of people. We had logged over 7,000 miles on our Goose Box and loved it.
