I was just curious if anyone has mounted a tv in the bedroom of Reflection 29RS fifth wheel? I’d like to mount something but just not sure how big a tv the mount would handle especially while traveling on the road.

I had a 2018 Reflection fifth wheel. I mount a TV in the main bedroom using the lightest wate I could find (about 40 inches corner to corner). I felt it was safe when parked. When moving with the fifth wheel I would spend 2 minutes to take the TV off and laid it on the bed just to be safe. I never had any problems. I never left it mounted. I have moved on to a Ford E450 RV. I like it but I really like my Reflection and my Ford diesel (4 door)with an 8 foot bed. Hope this makes you understand how I used a TV ...

Hi Leon,
I have the same 5th wheel and we were considering adding a TV as well. That happens to be the bosses side of the bed and she was worried about wacking her head on that thing as she passes by it (even if it is stored away for travel) If you do add the TV would you mind sharing your opinion on how its depth affects the head room as you go by?

Safe travels!

Is there information on how big the mount area is? I’d hate to mount into a spot that was not really the mount area. All I see is a sticker that says mount area.

I have a 2020 29RS and there was a sticker above the main window indicating where to mount the TV. I took the outside TV and mounted in the bedroom. I use a wireless HDMI unit to send the signal to it. I used a articulating arm mount and it locks into place while traveling. There is a pull cord to unlock it. The wife has not complained so I guess it works perfectly. It does take a bit of head room away when walking to that side of the bed.

It's been mounted for a couple years, no issues yet.

Ok nice. I replaced the living room tv and right now plan to mount that old one there. I got a scissor mount that can easily be removed so I can remove the tv while traveling. Yeah I have the sticker as well just wasn’t sure how big or where the actual mount point was.

So I mounted the living room tv in the bedroom and so far it’s been fine. Went on a trip and it has stayed and not been a problem. The mount does swing out and you have to be careful on that side of the bed but thinking that has more to do with the mount then anything else. I just used some metal screws to mount to the back plate.

I did the same thing with my outdoor tv.
GD should have done this to begin with. I have never understood the outside tv thing. Good idea on hdmi unit

I rarely ever watch sports and I know I am in the minority. I suspect others might think it's a good idea to go outside and do that.

One of the very first things I did was remove the outside TV, and now use the space to store the Blackstone. Outside TV's and outside LED strip lights are a couple of puzzles for me. Oh yeah, professional sports too.
