Imagine 3100RD

Anyone else considering this floor plan ?

It defiantly looks like a different approach.

You mean Imagine 3100RD?
It's actually the same as most all RD 5th wheel layouts. Great for watching tv for two people. Those sitting on the sofas will need some Ibuprofen for their stiff necks.
The cool thing about that TT is you have access to the fridge toilet and dinette with the slides in.
I hope you have a 3/4 ton or larger truck.

Yea the imagine - the hitch weight is only
791 With a dry weight of 7778
I plan to tow it with a 2021 Ram Rebel
( capacity’s are 1690 cargo weight and 11,200 tow )

I would go put a fire suit on. You are likely about to be flamed
Have fun

Lol really ? It seems like everyone in here says to stick to the manufactures specs from What I can tell

You will be within the specs of the 1500, but after towing it, you will buy a 2500.

Not enough body in the 1500 for the tail. It's going to toss that truck around.

Yeah some are like that most are not
I say do whatever you are comfortable with and enjoy time with your family

There are quite a few that will say you must be 20 percent under those numbers because if you don’t the trailer will control the truck although hitches take care of this, your brakes are inadequate plus you will prematurely destroy your truck and of course risk everyone’s life around you

I currently tow a bullet premier 26rbpr it’s around
755 hitch & 6180 dry with virtually the same truck.
Not a single issue

This camper is a few feet longer is my only worry ( catching wind )

That's exactly what I'm saying. The Imagine is 4 feet longer.

Been down this road several times.

Also considering the 2970RL

We have the 2970RL and absolutely love it! Of course. We looked at the 3100RD and did not care for the kitchen location/layout. And we didn't need two couch's. We wanted a couple's coach and did not need to have anyone sleeping over.

The island in our 2970 is perfect. I can help with meal prep without being 'in' the kitchen. I mean in my DWs way.

Honestly we don’t “need” all those couches either I just though it was sort of a unique layout

Yes. The layout is what I would consider unique. And after looking at soooo many trailers they all start to look the same. The kitchen was the deal breaker for us because we do cook in our trailer.

Really comes down to lifestyle. We like to have company in so appreciate the two couches. For us, the kitchen works. Came from a trailer with the island and have concluded it wasted floor space. And the full size “couch” beds accommodate our six ft plus grandsons.
