Anyone had any trouble with leaking wheel bearings. Just found out I may have to replace both axles. Only have 1300 miles on the trailer.:(

Wow!!! Take a picture....would love to see where this -- hope this gets corrected for you.

Why would you need to replace the axles? If anything, maybe the bearings, races and seals.

I had this problem with about a 1000 miles on my coach. I pointed this out to a dealer and they said it wasn't a problem! After arriving at a RV Camp in Columbia Falls MT, (at 2500 miles) an employee told me it was a problem and a RV repairman was going to be on site. I spoke to him and he said the caps weren't installed correctly. He said it would be okay to drive a short distance so I took it in for a repack of all the bearings. I paid up front, but hoping GD will take care of the charge since it was not installed correctly.

I have an update to my leaking axle. So I went to my service department yesterday (Paul Evert RV in Fife WA), and talked to the service manager face to face. I misunderstood about the axle replacement. What needs to be replaced is the brake components on all 4 wheels, pads, drum, magnets because grease got on everything. The leaking bearings will be fixed as well. My service manger assured me that this was a serious safety issue and would be fixed. Sorry to hear about what the dealer told RetiredVagabond.

My Reflection had the same thing on the drivers side. Both rims had grease on them after every trip. I took it to the dealer to have many issues fixed but the tech thought maybe it might only be the caps. I got an email saying the wheel assemblies were being replaced.
