Reflection Sightings

Begining our New England trek. Spotted a Reflection headed west on I 20 between Columbia SC and Augusta GA. Spotted a second one in the campground at Dan Nichols county park in Salisbury NC

In our recent trek across Wyoming and Montana, we have seen numerous Reflection 5th wheels, but have had too poor internet service to list those here. We had the opportunity to meet and get to know 2 couples that had Refections at Sundance Campground near Coram MT week before last. Also, there is now a Reflection 150 at Yellowstone RV Park near Gardiner MT.

Recent trip to/from Williams, AZ, we saw Reflection fifth wheels going the opposite direction from us on I-40. Also, the campground host at the Kaibab National Forest in Williams had a Reflection 29RS.

Grand Design and Reflections are common place now. 3 years ago it was unusual to see one. They have now made a name for themselves.

In 5 years from when the first Reflections were produced in 7/2013 until 2018, Reflection fifth wheels became the number 1 selling fifth wheel overtaking Cougar. No wonder we owners are "everywhere" now !

In our first two years, we never saw another Reflection........just a VERY rare sighting of a 369, 368, or 379 Solitude. It has been an amazing story !

So here we sit in Holbrook, AZ. You'd think we're having a little GD rally here. 3 Reflections, 3 Solitudes, 5 Momentums and 2 Imagine trailers.

Our overnight boondocking spot at the airport outside Paisley, Oregon...

Saw 3 more Reflection fifth wheels (bigger than ours) on I-40 in New Mexico today (two eastbound, one westbound).

Dan,

Do you know how many miles you're put on your 303 since you got it?

Rob - I do keep track of the miles on a file in our laptop. It is not an exact science using mileage meters on the hubs or similar but rather just monitoring the miles traveled with the truck odometer after pulls/mapquest/etc.

I just updated it for the last couple trips. We have about 15,500 +/- a hundred miles or so. This includes the few hundred miles from GDRV factory to the dealer done in 10/2013.

We went Pine Mountain Ga. this past weekend, had some of all models of GD.
Stopped at the rest stop just south of Eufaula, Al, missed the photo op but had 3 Reflections there at the same time and a fourth about a mile down the road.
Not Reflection but if you are around Pine Mountain Ga go by the rv Resort and check out the Bluebirds, they are there for a rally. Some really nice units restored to perfection.

Thanks, Dan. Just curious what kind if miles others put on their rigs over a longer time period.

We are just a couple hundred miles short of 7000 miles, we will have our one year anniversary the end of this month. We put about 4800 miles on it in June going from the Fl. panhandle to S.D. and Wy.

I-15 northbound at 138 (California), on the frontage road saw a Reflection fifth wheel without tow vehicle - the truck was up on a flatbed tow vehicle. I'm guessing something happened to the truck. It's a fairly steep climb up I-15 at that point, and it was HOT (already in the 90s at 11:00 am) maybe the truck wasn't adequate to the tow and the heat got to it..
