Count me in as one of the Atwood non-cooling refrig owners. Elec mode just stopped, switched to gas and it works. Although I'm not sure up to full capacity. I'm a full-timer so if the dealer cannot fix Fri, we will be in Shippsewanna Mon. (Had the trip up north planned for quite some time as luck would have it.)

You should call the customer service line in the morning (574.825.8000) and see if you can get it fixed as you're only a few miles from the GD factory. Perhaps they could send a Atwood tech to your campsite.

Welcome to the forum movinonbob! I agree with Dave, give Customer Service a call, here is their new direct line # 574-825-9679.

I contacted the GD factory and we seem to be on the repair track. Thanks

Welcome to the forums Bob...and sorry to hear about the fridge. It does seem to be an issue in the Reflection Line that uses Atwood. Hopefully, Grand Design is letting Atwood know of this problem.
Our Solitude has the Norcold Fridge and it seems to be problem free so far. (knocks on wood)

Good luck on your fridge repair, hopefully this is fixed soon!

Talk about satisfied: Called the service rep JD Monday morning, told him the problem, by 10 am the Atwood rep was AT MY CAMPSITE, fixed it and was gone in less than an hour.Keep up the good work GD and Atwood. movinonbob

Glad to hear you got yours fixed quickly. Atwood is aware of the problem as GD forwarded the thread from this forum to them. I got a call from Atwood last week about mine.

Bob - Do you know what component was defective? My electrical cooling was caused by a defective heating element. The gas problem was due to an bad igniter. I'm sure glad Craig from Atwood was able to get ours fixed yesterday then head over and get you taken care of too. Great service by those Indiana guys.

Getting ready for a month long trip Thursday. Plugged in my electricity today, turned on the refrig. Hours later the freezer is cold, but the refrig. section is not. Will let it run for several more hours and the check it on propane.

Worked great the first short trip.

Had our Solitude 368 less than 3 weeks and NorCold Fridge had recall part. Reset it w/Magnet and we'll see if it holds. :(
