Was just looking under the lower outside panel on my Atwood refrigerator in my 27RL. There is a corrugated drain hose laying in the cavity with a plug in it. Should this have a plug and should it not be routed through the bottom grate in the access panel. The plug is tie wrapped in. In my previous rv's this is where the water would drain off in case of condensation. Just wondering.

Your are correct it should be routed through the vent and the plug is to keep critters from finding a new home, it have an opening and will drain.

Chuck, thanks for the reply, so are you saying it can still drain even with that plug tie wrapped in?
