Refrigerator Humming Noise

When our frig cycles on it makes a rather loud humming noise. Any thoughts? Thank you. Betsy.

Is it warm out where you are?

Usually, when a refer is mounted in a slide, there is a fan in the stack to help move hot air out of the cavity.

I wish it was warm, but the rain is surely welcome. (CA). Thank you for the info. We have always shied away from a frig. in the slide. Thus, no noise. It is worth getting used to. Thanks again. Betsy.

Hi @newreflect,

To ensure your refrigerator is working properly, we recommend you contact your dealer for a service appointment to have it inspected (and tested as needed).

Best regards,
~ Janice

Newreflect,
Ours does the same thing. It's the Atwood model. We had on our list of items for warranty work. Dealer said they contacted Atwood and they say it's normal.
All I can say it's very annoying but guess we are going to have to live with it.
Thanks and Happy Camping.
Jim

Ours is the same. I found you don't notice it much after a couple weeks.

So maybe the solution is to go camping for a few weeks. :)

Probably solve many of the "World's" problems! ;)

Thanks for the input. We will have it checked out at the dealer. Betsy.
