We have a 12v Furrion refrigerator that has froze food since the get go. We've been trying everything. We realized our door seals are not tight. Since we are out of warranty, Lippert sent us 2 new doors in good faith. My husband put the new doors on and the seals are still not tight. You can pull the $ right out. He usually can fix anything. Everything seems plum. They have no other suggestions. Anyone have any other ideas???

My freezer door has the same issue with the seal not seating properly. I tried several things with no good results. I determined the area where the leakage seemed worse and used several layers of masking tape to shim between the freezer opening and the seal.

Not a "fix" solution but it did help. Keep building up layers of the tape (use the blue painter's tape) until you feel some resistance when pulling the dollar.

Have either of you tried softening the seal with a blow dryer ? You can soften and pull on or pinch the sides of the seal slightly to give it more body.

I found on our refrigerator that the door does not seal well because the door seal, which is a magnetic strip, does not contact the metal portion of the refrigerator face, it hits against the the plastic portion. I have not yet tried to fix it, I plan to in the next few weeks. I think there are 2 possibilities, Adjust the door so it aligns properly which I think is not likely because of the way the hinges are built, or put on a new door seal but put the seal on the plastic part of the face of the refrigerator so the metal of the door closes agains the magnetic seal.

I had a freezer seal that was so loose I could not only pull out the dollar bill I could then slide it back in! Manufacturer Sent a replacement seal that fixed the problem.

I found no way to adjust the alignment of the door, but I will definitely try the blow dryer and check to see where the seal is seating on the face of the fridge. Good ideas.
