I’d like to take down our bedroom TV. I see an earlier discussion about lifting up and jiggling it, but not sure this applies to 2020s. Has anyone taken theirs down?
Thx

Was it OEM, or aftermarket install? If not known, would check VESA mount on back of tele and go from there.I’d like to take down our bedroom TV. I see an earlier discussion about lifting up and jiggling it, but not sure this applies to 2020s. Has anyone taken theirs down?

Still would take a look at the VESA mount connection to the wall mount arms. Its possible that the OEM VESA mount in the bedroom is similar to the OEM living room VESA. My 295RL did not come with a OEM bedroom tv or VESA mount. Added a VESA from Amazon to fit a 32" Sony Smart TV. On it, the entire mount from tv to wall was one piece requiring VESA to be mounted first to the designated wall area (by GD), and then the tv mounted to the VESA.It is OEM. I’ve taken out the living room after learning all about Robertson bits.![]()
Usually, there is a locking screw or clamp that prevents the mount from disconnecting during travel. Look behind the TV and remove the lock. You should be able to lift the TV vertically and remove it. I would disconnect all cables before removal.I’d like to take down our bedroom TV.
