We upgraded our queen-size mattress two years ago. It is called an RV Mattress. It came all rolled up, and we opened it inside the bedroom and watched it grow. It was the best thing we ever did. The mattress that came with our unit was not very comfortable, and as it aged, it had flat spots. We love what we installed, and it was an easy process.

We bought ours at Big Lots.

We went to Mattress Firm and bought one of those matresses that come rolled up and vacuumed packed. They are a hoot to watch expand! Can't tell you what brand I have but it is so much better than the one that came with the trailer. Broklyn Bedding sponsors several You Tube RV channels and they often have a discount code you can use for extra savings.
That is the path I would take if buying again.
Check "Today is Someday" or "1Strange Adventure". Seems to me they are affilates of BB and usually have a code for you to use.

I bought a 3" memory foam topper for my mattress, transformed it. Before it, could not sleep on it without back issue's.

For a while (like @Wileykid ) we used a topper. Then we got this mattress, which has been a real game changer. Sooo comfortable.

Big lots is a great suggestion. For us, the right balance of better than a camper mattress but generally inexpensive and comparatively light. We've had a couple big lot queens that were perfect for camp and campers.

We actually bought 2 that day - one for the RV and one for home (we needed a new one there, also).
