Off to the store to buy new Camco filters today. I typically use one a season, and not a heavy enough user to justify/figure out how to engineer/install a bigger "whole house" system.
So, the big question - I put on a new one for out last trip last fall. Now after sitting with water in it all winter, I don't trust what is/might have been growing in it while in storage.
I assume bleach water is bad for the charcoal part of the filter.
Is there any good way to store a partially used one for a long period? Or should I just accept that replacing at the start of the season is the best practice?
